On Saturday, September 24, 2011 the public will have an opportunity to get a close up view of police vehicles at the All Police Touch-A-Truck event being hosted by the Stamford Police Department and the Stamford Police Association. The event will take place at the Parking Lot and runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The rain date is Sunday, September 25.
Visitors will get a close up look at a wide range of police vehicles including an armored personnel carrier, a patrol car, police motorcycle, emergency services truck and a K-9 unit.
Admission is free but donations will be accepted for the Stamford Police Athletic Association.
