Discovering her calling to social work at a young age, Lennon has always strived to help others. Volunteering alongside her mom at school, at the library, for a feline rescue group, at a family homeless shelter, and many other events, she was always determined to make a difference. She changes lives for the better with her quiet confidence that comforts those around her. She graduated from High School in 2020 and ventured off to university in New York City, amidst the pandemic, with a dream to help children in the foster care system.

Despite the challenges, she thrived at NYU with new friends and new experiences in the city. As a member of the student government, she fought for student rights and helped convince the school to update policies. Lennon is graduating with a Bachelor of Social Work, a Minor in Psychology and a Minor in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Studies. Her adventure continues as an Alaska Fellow! She will spend next year in Sitka, AK as a Health and Resilience Guide for a local boarding school. We are extremely proud of this wondrous woman.
