Luke has always had a passion for transportation and public safety. He began his work as an intern in his Junior year of high school for the Stamford Dept. of Transportation and evolved into a full time Junior Transportation Planner in the department while attending NYU undergrad full time before graduating from the Tandon School of Engineering in 2023 and earning his Master of Urban Planning from the NYU Wager School of Public Service in 2024. He currently serves as the Chair of the Stamford Vision Zero Task Force to eliminate roadway fatalities by 2032.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?
He works very hard, always goes the extra mile and is very passionate about making the City of Stamford a safer place to live, work and play.
