Hit by SUV, Child Seriously Injured in Stamford
Police are investigating the Wednesday night accident.
An eight-year-old child was seriously injured when they were struck by an SUV on Glenbrook Road Wednesday night.
According to reports, Stamford Police are investigating the incident that occurred about 6 p.m. when an unidentified 40-year-old woman from Fairfield struck the child who was crossing the street. The woman was driving a Toyota RAV4, according to NBC Connecticut.
The unidentified child was admitted to Stamford Hospital in serious condition with head, chest and leg injuries, according to The Advocate.
