IDs Sought in Stamford Shooting; Police Release Video
The shooting early Sunday occurred on Spruce Street.
Stamford Police have released a security video in hopes of identifying three people “of interest” in connection with an early Sunday morning shooting at 20 Spruce St.
In the video, the shooter can be seen firing at least six shots an at unknown target about 2:47 a.m. Dec. 20. Police believe the first man conspired with the shooter who’s seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt. They also are seeking to identify a woman and a car, possibly a Nissan Altima, that are seen in the video.
The shooting is the latest in a series in the city since early November. On Nov. 16, a volley of shots were fired near the intersection of West Main Street and Rose Park Avenue, with bullets striking four apartments and one vehicle. On Nov. 19, a woman’s car was struck by a bullet as she drove near the same area. In early November, a Stamford woman was fatally shot as she stood in a parking lot chatting with friend and a man was critically injured as he walked along Myano Lane.
