It's Going to Begin to Feel Like Winter This Weekend

We'll be dealing with gusty winds and very cold wind chills too. We also have the latest on the Christmas week forecast.

There’s a word being introduced into our forecast that we haven’t used yet this month and thats “Wind Chill Factor.”

After half a month of 50-degree and even an occasional 60-degree day, we’re expecting temps in the upper 30s to around 40 degrees on both Saturday and Sunday. Yes, it will be in the 50s today (Friday) as temps begin to free fall by late afternoon.

It will be very windy on Saturday and it means temperatures will feel like they’re in the teens for Hartford and Tolland counties and for Southern Connecticut temps will feel like it’s in the 20s.
