Man Accused of Robbing Stamford Teen

Stamford Police reportedly had to use a stun gun to subdue a man wanted for robbing a sack of groceries from a West Side resident and trying to break into the resident’s home.
The 32-year-old suspect is accused of threatening a 19-year-old who was bringing groceries into his Myano Lane home about 9 p.m. Saturday, according to The Advocate.
Ruben Milbain, of Bridgeport, allegedly confronted the teen, demanded his car keys and when the teen refused and ran to his front door, Milbain grabbed the bag of groceries and fled.

The suspect was found about 45 minutes later and fought with officers who tried to arrest him. After being hit with a stun gun, Milbain was charged with third-degree robbery, threatening, resisting arrest and two counts of assault on a police officer, according to The Advocate story that can be found here.
