Man Arrested On Child Pornography Charges: Stamford Police
The man was arrested Thursday after a several-month investigation, according to police.

STAMFORD, CT — A Stamford man was arrested on Thursday and charged with first-degree possession of child sexual abuse material and promoting a minor in an obscene performance following a several-month investigation, according to police.
In June 2025, Stamford police obtained an arrest warrant for Koa Vierra, 21, and he was located in California, police said, noting they made arrangements for Vierra to return to Stamford to turn himself in.
On Aug. 14, Vierra's vehicle was alerted on the city's License Plate Reader system, and he was located and taken into custody without issue, police said.

"In review of the tip, it appeared that the user had generated multiple tips using the same IP Address over a short period of time," police said, adding the IP address was registered to a Prospect Street resident.
Several search warrants were completed in developing a suspect who was later identified as Vierra, police said.
"Det. Bossone played a crucial role in using open-source tools to substantiate much of the data that was returned," police noted.
On April 16, members of the SPD Internet Crimes Against Children Unit (ICAC), the Special Investigation Juvenile Offenses unit (SIJO), Digital Forensic Unit (DFU) and crime scene personnel executed multiple search warrants connected to Vierra, according to police.
Numerous electronic devices belonging to Vierra were seized, and investigators later found child pornography on them, police said.
"This investigation is another example of the collaborative efforts between ICAC Unit members and the DFU Team to arrest child sexual predators who distribute and possess child sexual abuse material," police said.
Vierra was held on a $250,000 court-set bond.
