Man Charged in Stamford Tire Slashing Incident

The damage reportedly was done on a vehicle owned by an ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend.

A Stamford man is facing criminal mischief and violation of an order of protection after he allegedly slashed the tires of the truck owned by an ex-girlfriend’s new beau.

The incident occurred about 11:40 p.m. Thursday on Mariners Lane, when the ex-girlfriend called police and reported she saw Huber Montenegro-Oliva puncture the tires on her new boyfriend’s pickup truck, according to The Advocate.

Police contacted Montenegro-Oliva early Friday and arrested him at his Matthews Street residence, according to The Advocate story that can be found here.
