Man Faces Sexual Assault Charge in Stamford
The suspect is accused of videotaping the assault of an incapacitated man and sharing it.

A Stamford man is facing a sexual assault charge after a man produced a video that showed he was assaulted while incapacitated, according to Stamford Police.
The 20-year-old victim went to police on Oct. 7 and reported the suspect “performed sexual acts upon him while he was incapacitated and did not consent to those acts. The victim turned over video evidence to investigators and gave a sworn statement,” according to police.
The victim told police that Emil Mrkulic, 25, “videotaped the act and sent it to a mutual friend who in turn notified the victim of what had occurred. With that evidence investigators applied for a warrant and arrested Mrkulic” on Nov. 24.
