In Memoriam: Anthony M. DeFelice
The retired Stamford Police officer passed away Dec. 17 at the age of 90.

Anthony M. DeFelice, age 90, of Daytona and formerly of Stamford passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the Florida Memorial Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of the late Theresa Foligno DeFelice.

Born in Stamford on June 20, 1925, he was a son of the late Daniel and Josephine Pia DeFelice. A U.S. Air Force veteran having served honorably during World War II, Anthony was later employed by the city of Stamford as a police officer with over 25 years of dedicated service.
He is survived by his four loving children, Michael DeFelice and his wife Maryann of New Canaan, Anthony DeFelice and his wife Laura of Trumbull, Paul DeFelice of West Haven and Sharon Bellofiore and her husband Marc of Trumbull, ten cherished grandchildren, Marc DeFelice and his wife Carrie, Justin DeFelice, Lucas DeFelice, Christine Donofrio, Anthony J. DeFelice and his wife Erica, Nicole Lockwood and her husband Eric, Kevin DeFelice, Jenna Bellofiore, Stephanie Bellofiore and Eric Bellofiore, eight adored great grandchildren, Grayson, Jackson, Dawson, Theresa, Anthony, Christopher, Brooklyn and Kali; a brother, Victor DeFelice and his wife Janet of Stamford, a sister, Eileen Gonza and her husband Salvatore of Milford, sisters-in-law, Carmella DeFelice of Stamford and Lorraine DeFelice of Westport, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Daniel and Joseph DeFelice and a sister, Clara DeFelice.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 11 a.m. directly in St. Aloysius Church, 21 Cherry St., New Canaan for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, New Canaan. Friends may greet the family on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull.
