In Memoriam: Beth Pesiri Solomita

Beth Pesiri Solomita, 47, of Stamford, died Monday, January 11, 2016 at Stamford Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

She was born December 17, 1968 in Stamford, the daughter of the late Dr. Ralph A. Pesiri and Patricia Moruke Pesiri.

Beth graduated from Sweet Briar College in Virginia and later received her Master’s Degree in Art Therapy at The College of New Rochelle in NY. At the time of her passing Beth was employed as the Admissions Manager at the Childcare Learning Centers in Stamford.

She is survived by her three adored children; Grace, Jack and Ava Solomita and their father, Michael Solomita; her brother Mark Pesiri, and his wife Diane; her sister Susan Pesiri Ekstrom and her husband Carl, her beloved nieces and nephews; Victoria and Samantha Pesiri and Magnus and Soren Ekstrom, as well as her cherished chocolate labrador Rudy. She is also survived by loving friends Susan and Patrick Smeraldi, their daughters Alexandra and Liza Smeraldi and her best friend Heather Leigh Studwell.

To honor Beth’s life family and friends will gather on Friday, January 15 from 9 am to 10:30 am at Bosak Funeral Home 453 Shippan Ave., Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am at The Church of The Holy Spirit, 403 Scofieldtown Rd., Stamford. Internment will be private.
