In Memoriam: Josephine Grushkin
The long-time Stamford resident passed away Dec. 22 at the age of 98.

Josephine Grushkin, age 98, passed away peacefully at her home on December 22, 2015.
She was born in Oklahoma on November 24, 1917 and has been a resident of Stamford for 53 years.

Josephine was predeceased by her husband, Mervin, in 1997.
She is survived by her two children, Steven
Grushkin of New Canaan and Carol Levy of Terre Haute, IN. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, Laura Williams of Zionsville,Indiana, Lisa Grushkin of NYC, Brian Grushkin of Charlotte, NC, Jonathan Grushkin of New Canaan, and Deborah Russell of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by 5 great –grandchildren.

In addition to her husband she was predeceased by her daughter in law, Arlene Grushkin in 2009.
There will be a private burial and no shiva will be held by the family.
