In Memoriam: Robert Lewis Evans

Robert Lewis (Bob) Evans, 61, of Stamford, passed away on January 12, 2016 in Stamford.

Robert Evans was born in Bronxville, NY to William and Ann Evans on September 6, 1954.

He went to high school at Fort Hunt, Alexandria, VA and graduated in 1973. He attended University of Kentucky. He worked as a construction project manager for Flagler Construction in Florida, and started his own building and remodeling company in Fairfield County. He was an avid sailor and enjoyed being out on Long Island Sound.

Robert is survived by his wife Jane Evans of Stamford. He is also survived by brothers William Evans, David Evans, Richard Evans; nephews Wiley Evans, John Evans, Tom Evans, Ber Evans, Sam Evans and niece Tori LaRovera.

Funeral service will be held at Union Memorial Church, 58 Church St., Stamford on January 16 at 10:30 with Pastor Blaine Edele officiating.
