In Memoriam: Vincent F. Ferrara

Vincent F. Ferrara, age 92, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2015 with family by his side.

He was a lifelong resident of Stamford, CT, born on March 8, 1923. He was the son of the late Alexander and Catherine Ferrara.

He was a WWII Navy Veteran and was awarded the American Theatre Ribbon, Asiatic Pacific Theatre Ribbon 3 Stars, Philippine Liberation Theatre Ribbon 1 Star and the Victory Medal for his service.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary K. Ferrara and his children, Alexander Ferrara, Richard Ferrara and Mary A. Ferrara.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Philomena Pope, Gaetano Ferrara, Dominick Ferrara, Mary Colon, and Lucy Colacicco and two sons, Vincent Ferrara and Joseph R. Ferrara.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Monday, Nov. 9 at St. Gabriel Parish, 914 Newfield Ave., in Stamford. His Interment will follow at St. John RC Cemetery in Darien.
