More than 7,000 Home Baked Cookies Raise Funds for Stamford Seniors

STAMFORD, CT. – December, 2023- Everyone loves holiday cookies and when you add cocktails to that, how can you miss? That was the concept behind Cookie and Cocktails, a fundraiser concocted by Waterstone on High Ridge and Osborne Homecare to raise funds for the Stamford Senior Center.

“The Stamford Senior Center is in need of exercise equipment for its seniors and we thought this would be a good way to create holiday cheer while raising money for a good cause,’’ said Jeanie Ricci, Senior Advisor at Waterstone on High Ridge.

Laurie Pensiero of Osborne Home Health baked 6,700 cookies in her own oven at home for the event. The evening also featured a live jazz performance by Barbara’s Serenade with singer Barbara Espinosa Occhino, accompanied by guitarist Carmine Marino.
