STAMFORD, CT — Downtown Stamford’s tallest luxury condominium tower officially rebranded on Monday, as a new name change went into effect.

Formerly known as Trump Parc Stamford, the building at 1 Broad St. is now Park Tower Stamford. The change came after residents voted to "change the legal name to better reflect the building's persona," according to a news release. New branding and signage will be installed soon.

According to the Stamford Advocate, the condo board of the building voted earlier this year to remove former President Donald Trump's name from the exterior of the building. A renaming committee was formed with resident support.

"This was an owner-led effort to rebrand and refresh our building’s identity," said Paul McDowell in a news release Monday. McDowell is president of the condominium’s association of owners. "We weighed the benefits, and I am confident that changing the name best supports our values. Our unit owners voted overwhelmingly in favor of this change, which encapsulates the distinct personality of our residents and community."

Park Tower Stamford was designed by architects Costas Kondylis and Lessarg Group. It features 160 residences that offer top-of-the-line finishes and panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline, Long Island Sound and Connecticut countryside. Owners can access a fitness center, lounge, billiards room, indoor salt water swimming pool, sauna, screening room and more. The building’s downtown location is also in close proximity to prime restaurants, shopping and public green spaces.
