Northeast Sports Card Expo Returns To Stamford

Connecticut's biggest card show will feature 250 vendor tables, meet-and-greet celebrity autograph signings and much more.

STAMFORD, CT — The Northeast Sports Card Expo will return to Stamford on May 4 and 5, bringing Connecticut’s biggest card show to its new home, the Chelsea Piers Athletic Club.

With 30,000 square feet of exhibition space, the family-friendly event will feature 250 vendor tables. The expo will showcase a large range of new and vintage sports and non-sports cards, Funkos, memorabilia, collectibles, and more. The show will also feature meet-and-greet celebrity autograph signings, on-site card-grading services, prize raffles, sports mascots, daily announcer hosts and more.

Autograph guests appearing at the event include NBA champion and former Chicago Bulls player Scott Burrell, Wrestling Hall of Famer Tony "The Pharaoh" Ricca, No. 1 Pro Welterweight UFC Fighter Billy Goff, Pro Women’s Hockey League New York star player Alex Carpenter, stars of the ‘70s hockey movie classic "Slap Shot" Mark Bousquet & Christopher Murney, former Hartford Whalers hockey player Norm Barnes, and more.

Attendees will receive free autographs of Bousquet, Carpenter and Goff, with paid admission, on the days of their respective appearances.

Day one will be hosted by father/son podcasting duo Mike and Joseph from the Sliders & Curveballs podcast, and day two will be hosted by Emmy Award-winning New York Mets announcer and Stamford native Colin Cosell.

Sports mascots appearing will include Yale University canine mascot Handsome Dan, Hartford Athletic mascot Dillon, as well as an appearance from Pikachu from the Pokemon franchise.

On Star Wars Day (May the 4th) Darth Vader and Chewbacca will both make an appearance.

Admission is $12 each day. Kids under 12 will have free admission. Tickets are available online now here and will also be available at the door.

The Chelsea Piers Athletic Club is located at 1 Blachley Road with ample free parking available onsite.
