Opening Date Announced For Stamford's First Panera Bread
The new bakery-cafe will mark the 34th Panera Bread in Connecticut, the company's website shows.

STAMFORD, CT — Stamford's first Panera Bread location is set to open on March 21, according to an announcement from the company.
Located at 1010 High Ridge Road in the space formerly occupied by GymSource, the new bakery-cafe will mark the 34th Panera Bread in Connecticut, the company's website shows. There are locations nearby in Darien, Norwalk and Fairfield.
"We are thrilled to be opening a new Panera in Stamford. We are excited to grow our presence in this wonderful community and look forward to delivering the great tasting food and impeccable service our Connecticut guests have come to expect from Panera," said Dominic Valerio, an area operating partner, in an announcement.

This location will offer the newly transformed Panera menu including more than 20 menu updates with new items and enhanced classics.
A grand opening celebration will feature a special promotion for local guests in Stamford.

The first 50 guests each day on March 21 and March 22 will receive a year's worth of free bagels and cream cheese (52 total free bagels with cream cheese/one per week, redeemable with promo code, valid March 24, 2024, to March 25, 2025).
Hours for the Stamford location will be Monday through Sunday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Guests can dine in or utilize takeout and delivery. Catering is also available.
The company said the new location is expected to create 40-plus jobs in the community.
