Optimum, Warner Bros. Discovery To Distribute Backpacks At Stamford Back-to-School Event
As part of its ongoing support, Optimum is also making a $5,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford.
STAMFORD, CT — Optimum and Warner Bros. Discovery will host a back-to-school backpack giveaway on Monday, Aug. 11, at the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford’s Mary C. Rich Clubhouse, aiming to support local families and help students prepare for the upcoming school year.
The event, taking place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., will provide 400 backpacks filled with school supplies to local residents. In addition to the backpack distribution, the event will feature family-friendly activities, music and refreshments.
As part of its ongoing support, Optimum is also making a $5,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford, bringing its total contributions to the organization to more than $22,000 since 2021. The funding supports access to high-speed internet and STEM learning opportunities for local youth.
