No

Previous public office, appointive or elective:
I am currently serving as a member of the Board of Representatives for District 13. First elected in 2021.

Why are you seeking this office?
I enjoy serving on the Board of Reps, and I want to continue representing my constituents, ensuring they receive the services they need. Practically, this means: 1) passing ordinances to enhance the quality of life in Stamford, 2) ensuring constituents receive public services by helping them navigate the city’s services/FixIt Stamford when they need assistance, 3) managing the city's finances and resources prudently as a current member of the Personnel, State and Commerce, and Fiscal Committees; 4) representing the Board to the WPCA; and 5) advocating for the mayor’s vision for the city’s future.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is the shifting burden of federal policy onto local governments, which threatens our ability to deliver essential services affordably and equitably. I intend to address this by advocating for flexible, risk-managed municipal funding models, collaborating across city boards to safeguard public services, and ensuring Stamford remains resilient in the face of national uncertainty.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
What truly sets me apart from other candidates seeking this post is my unwavering commitment to responsible growth and city service. While my current district partner, Eric Morson, and I share many goals, my opponents embody a philosophy rooted in anti-development and anti-mayor rhetoric—approaches that hinder progress and collaboration with the Administration. I believe in smart, thoughtful development where our city has the capacity and infrastructure to thrive, and I have actively worked with city officials to implement sensible ordinances that improve everyday life for residents. Additionally, I am a steadfast advocate for prudent financial management, ensuring our city's resources are used wisely. Most importantly, my top priority is delivering the services you rely on and deserve—something my opponents have yet to address. I am committed to putting your interests first and building a stronger, more vibrant community that works for everyone.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
In this campaign, I will continue championing responsible growth, fiscal resilience, and equitable access to city services. But more than that, I’m fighting for a Stamford that honors its tradition: a welcoming, peaceful suburban community with the cultural and economic vitality of a small city. I believe we can be both a gateway to New England and a place where families thrive in quiet neighborhoods. That means smart development, not obstruction; collaboration, not division. While others campaign on opposition, I focus on solutions—working with the Administration to deliver real results. My commitment is simple: to serve you with integrity, foresight, and a deep respect for the city we’re building together.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
My record reflects a deep commitment to service, collaboration, and results. I’ve helped pass ordinances that improve quality of life—like leaf blower oversight and responsible budgeting that kept tax increases near 2%. I served on the redistricting committee, supported sewer expansion to underserved areas, and helped secure Stamford’s ADU carveout. As a member of multiple fiscal and policy committees, I’ve managed city resources prudently and worked across divisions to support the mayor’s vision. Most importantly, I’ve consistently delivered for constituents—navigating city services, advocating for fair appointments, and defending democratic values. I don’t just talk about leadership—I practice it every day.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
The best advice I ever received came from my father, who shared the poem Desiderata with me. Its message—“Go placidly amid the noise and haste… speak your truth quietly and clearly”—has shaped how I lead. In public service, there’s constant noise, pressure, and division. But this poem reminds me to stay grounded, to listen deeply, and to act with integrity. It’s a call to nurture strength of spirit, to be gentle with others and ourselves, and to remember that even in the face of broken dreams, the world is still beautiful. That’s how I approach this role: with clarity, compassion, and a quiet determination to repair the world, one ordinance, one conversation, one act of service at a time.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I believe in a government that empowers individuals while strengthening the fabric of our community. That means protecting personal liberty and property rights, while also fostering collaboration, compassion, and shared responsibility. I see public service as a way to uplift—not control—our neighbors, and I believe government should be a tool for helping everyone thrive, not just a privileged few. My approach blends respect for individual freedoms with a deep commitment to service, equity, and thoughtful progress. We can honor both self-determination and the common good—because a truly vibrant city is one where no one is left behind.
