Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?

Previous public office, appointive or elective:
Elected to the Board of Representatives from 2021-2025

Why are you seeking this office?
To continue the work I have been doing for the past four years.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ensuring safe, livable neighborhoods while managing growth responsibly, and this is what I intend to do about it. I will continue advocating for student and pedestrian safety, supporting smart development that strengthens our community, and working closely with residents to make sure they know how to get involved, report any concerns and share feedback.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I have worked collaboratively with Maureen Pollack for the past 4 years and hope to continue that work into the next term. Chris Woodside is the MAGA candidate from the Republican party that is running against us. The last time I spoke with Mr. Woodside was in March, when he publicly accused Senator Chris Murphy and the Democrats of misconduct on the basis of claims that were completely absurd. Mr. Woodside’s comments can be seen here starting at minute 48- I do not have the same beliefs as Mr. Woodside.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
As a member of the Parks and Recreation Committee, I’m committed to keeping our parks and beaches clean, modern, and enjoyable for everyone. I will continue to focus on clean air and open spaces throughout my campaign and on the 32nd Board of Representatives. I also aim to help Stamford’s small businesses thrive through thoughtful policies, strong local partnerships, and active community engagement.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
As your current representative on the Board of Representatives, I’ve worked hard to make sure Stamford’s neighborhoods are safe, strong, and connected. I’ve championed pedestrian and student safety around schools like Strawberry Hill, partnered with residents to address local concerns, and collaborated with city departments to deliver real results. As a small business owner in downtown Stamford, I bring a practical, hands-on approach to solving problems and building partnerships that strengthen our community. With deep roots in Stamford and a commitment to listening, accessibility, and accountability, I’m ready to continue working for you to keep our city a great place to live and work.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
The best advice I ever received was to focus on what I can control and to treat everyone with fairness and respect. In a world full of negativity and uncertainty, a single intentional act of kindness can truly brighten someone’s day.
