Why are you seeking this office?
I’m running for the Board of Representatives because I want to bring a practical, solutions oriented voice to city government. Stamford is a great city with enormous potential, but it needs leaders who will focus on facts, transparency, and long-term planning rather than politics. With a background in accounting, finance, and software development, I’m used to analyzing complex problems and following through until they are solved.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is managing growth responsibly while ensuring Stamford remains affordable and accessible to the people who live and work here. We need new housing, including affordable options for teachers, first responders, young professionals, and seniors, but development must align with our infrastructure, schools, and environment so that it strengthens neighborhoods rather than overwhelming them. As a member of the Board of Representatives, I intend to focus on improving transparency and data-driven planning in how projects are evaluated. Through careful oversight and collaboration with city departments, I will work to ensure that affordable housing goals are balanced with the capacity of our roads, schools, and public services. My goal is to help Stamford grow in a way that is inclusive, sustainable, and fiscally responsible, preserving the character and quality of life that make our community such a great place to live.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
What sets me apart is my practical, data-driven approach and my willingness to focus on solutions. I take time to understand issues in depth, ask tough questions, and look for common ground that leads to real results. I’m running to make sure decisions are based on facts, not ideology, and that residents have access to clear and transparent information about how the city operates. I have the time, drive, and determination to listen carefully, do the homework, and follow through until problems are solved.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
In addition to responsible growth and housing, I want to focus on improving transparency, infrastructure, and quality of life across our neighborhoods. That means making it easier for residents to understand how city decisions are made, ensuring our roads, sidewalks, and stormwater systems are maintained proactively, and supporting investments in schools and public safety. I also want to see city services become more efficient and responsive, using technology and data to help residents track issues and get results. My goal is to make city government more open, reliable, and focused on the basics that keep Stamford strong.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
In my professional career, I’ve led projects that required balancing complex data, tight deadlines, and collaboration across different teams, skills that translate directly to city government. Working in accounting, finance, and software development has taught me how to analyze information carefully, manage competing priorities, and ensure decisions are made efficiently and transparently. I’ve also been active in local community efforts that value teamwork and follow-through. These experiences have reinforced the importance of listening first, communicating clearly, and focusing on solutions that deliver results.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
The best advice I’ve ever received is to listen more than you speak. Taking the time to truly understand different perspectives almost always leads to better decisions and stronger outcomes. It’s advice that has served me well professionally and personally, and it’s something I carry into every conversation about how to make our city better.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I want voters to know that I’m approachable, practical, and committed to doing the work. I’m not running on slogans or ideology, but on the belief that Stamford deserves thoughtful, transparent leadership. I’ll always listen, do my homework, and work hard to find solutions that strengthen our neighborhoods and improve everyday quality of life.
