PROJECT MUSIC Hosts 11th Annual Gala with “The Addams Family” Musical

PROJECT MUSIC, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth through music education, hosted its 11th Annual Gala at Co-Create in Stamford on November 14, 2025.

The event’s honorary chairs were Angelica and Ed Cantlon, and Kevin Miserocchi, and in partnership with presenting sponsor, The Tee & Charles Addams Foundation, the theme was “An Evening with The Addams Family.”

PROJECT MUSIC Founder and Board Chair, Joyce DiCamillo, kicked off the night by highlighting the importance of PROJECT MUSIC’s mission to create meaningful connections with young people and provide them with the skills and experiences they need to reach their fullest potential.

“It’s clear that we cannot falter or fall behind. We must continue to grow our programming to serve the needs of our constituency,” DiCamillo commented. “We continue to be here for them: a haven, a shelter, a safe place - giving them not only a love of music, but the skills to create music - imparting in them a lifelong skill in which they can feel immense pride.”

DiCamillo also announced the inception of The H. Kevin Miserocchi Summer Music Institute, in honor of the long-time PROJECT MUSIC donor and friend.

The evening was full of big Broadway moments and special surprises. Renowned composer Andrew Lippa visited with PROJECT MUSIC students in advance of the event to record their performance of the overture from “The Addams Family,” giving students a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be conducted by a world-class artist.

The student ensemble video was immediately followed on-stage by a special performance by Broadway star Rachel Potter, who reprised her iconic role as Wednesday Addams and was joined by professional and local actors to perform selections from “The Addams Family.”

To close the program, a PROJECT MUSIC student shared her inspirational success story, followed by a generous paddle raise that brought in over $100,000 to support PROJECT MUSIC’s programs, providing access to instruments, instruction, and life-changing performance opportunities for young musicians.

“This gala was more than a celebration—it was a testament to the transformative power of music,” said Rachel Morrow, PROJECT MUSIC Managing Director. “From Rachel Potter’s unforgettable performance to Andrew Lippa’s collaboration with our students, the evening embodied our mission of inspiring and uplifting young people every day.”
