Road Reopens After Box Truck Struck Utility Pole: Stamford Police

The road was closed for several hours as crews worked to clear a downed utility pole and wires.

STAMFORD, CT — Cold Spring Road between Long Ridge Road and Washington Boulevard has reopened following a lengthy closure, according to an update Wednesday morning from the Stamford Police Department.

The road was closed Tuesday afternoon after a box truck struck a utility pole and brought wires down, Sgt. Jeffrey Booth of the SPD told Patch.

No injuries were reported.
