Shake Shack Announces Opening Date In Stamford
The Stamford restaurant represents the company's eighth Connecticut location.

STAMFORD, CT — The much-anticipated Shake Shack at 64 High Ridge Road in Stamford is slated to open at 11 a.m. on May 23, according to an announcement from the fast-casual burger chain. The Stamford Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the occasion.
Shake Shack features hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, crinkle-cut fries, milkshakes and frozen custards. The Bull's Head location represents the company's eighth Connecticut location, with restaurants in Danbury, Darien, New Haven, Newington, South Windsor, West Hartford and Westport.
Hours in Stamford will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Guests can order directly inside or online for pickup or delivery via the Shack app, or the Shake Shack website in the coming weeks.

The first wave of guests on opening day in Stamford can expect to receive custom Shake Shack keychains, the company said.
Additionally, Shake Shack will donate $1 for every sandwich sold at the Stamford restaurant on May 23 to Connecticut Foodshare in support of their work to deliver an informed and equitable response to hunger by mobilizing community partners, volunteers, and supporters.

Shake Shack is part of the newly-constructed development at 64 High Ridge Road which also features Starbucks and Pepe's Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana.
Starbucks opened in April, and Pepe's is "coming soon," according to the restaurant's website.
