'She Is A Leader In Every Sense Of The Word': Stamford Hero

STAMFORD, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Emergency room technician

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
She works her normal shifts and picks up additional overnight shifts, dedicating herself 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. most nights despite the fact it offered her to stay home and despite the fact she knows she could expose those she loves. She takes it all with no complaints and nothing but hopeful joy.
She's a hero.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
She is a leader in every sense of the word. She's kind and fair and looks to work in the ER to make the most impact.
