Police said Monday night that witnesses said “a dark colored Audi A-4 dropped off two black males at this intersection and shots rang out a few minutes later. The Audi travelled west on West Main Street and the (men) ran west on West Main and then south on Ann Street.”

Lt. Diedrich Hohn said, “We have the males on video running south on Ann Street. We believe that these two males were firing at a subject in the driveway of 235 West Main St. No victims were found at the scene and all local hospitals have been checked.”

Police hope to be able to release video soon, Hohn said.

Officers checked all the apartments that were struck with gunfire and everyone was accounted for.

The second suspect is described as a black male with a stocky build, age unknown, wearing a grey hoodie, black jacket over it and dark colored cargo pants.

The suspects may be in possession of a handgun and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police said, “We do not have a motive for the shooting nor have we identified the intended target at this point. Anyone having any information on this incident you are urged to call the SPD Detective bureau at 203-977-4417. All information will be kept confidential.”
