- Hey Stamford, your weather outlook for today is mostly sunny with a high in the mid-80s again, according to the National Weather Service. Tide charts show high tide hitting around 12:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. and low tide at around 7:15 a.m. and 7:35 p.m.
- Over at the Ferguson Library, they're showing Bonnie & Clyde and a New Canaan animal enthusiast is going to be showing off some Animals [that] Dig the Dirt.
- Today is the High Ridge Shopping Center's Sidewalk Sale, so head on up near the Merritt and check it out beginning at 10 a.m. Lots of great shops up that way, and the High Ridge Center Farmer's Market is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through October (It's also there Sundays, also limited through October).
- Alternatively, if you're looking to get out of the house but aren;t interested in shopping during the heat of the day, check out the Stamford Museum & Nature Center's Picnic Perfect Nights starting at 5 p.m. bring a picnic, a blanket, and enjoy some outdoor, after-hours fun.
- An interesting item from neighboring Greenwich: a man tried to break into a home by scaling an exterior wall of the house. Police have not said whether the man had any relation to Peter Parker.
