Stamford Animal Control Investigating Loose Chickens
The office is following a key piece of evidence found at the scene.
Stamford Animal Care & Control Shelter Director Laurie Hollywood said officers were investigating 4 to 5 chickens on the loose in the area of Brinckerhoff Avenue she reported.
Hollywood said a concerned motorist driving in the area reported the flock to Animal Control, but by the time officers arrived, the chickens had run off.
She did said they were following a strong lead, seen in the image included with this article, and would be following up on any further reports.
