Stamford Considers Proposal to Build Assisted Living Facility
The plan for a 104-unit facility is expected to be presented to the Zoning Board.

The Zoning Board will consider a recommendation to approve construction of a 104-unit assisted living facility in downtown Stamford.
The operator of assisted living facilities through the northeast and mid-Atlantic has plans to open its first Fairfield County location in Stamford.
LCB Senior Living, which operates assisted living facilities in the Northeast, has proposed building the facility on Summer Street, between Second and Third streets, next to the TD Bank, according to The Advocate. LCB Senior Living operates facilities in South Windsor and Avon.
Last week, the Planning Board recommended that the Zoning Board approve the five-story building that would be located on a one-acre parcel where several buildings would be demolished to make way for construction.
The Zoning Board is expected to discuss the plan at its Feb. 8 meeting, according to The Advocate story that can be found here.
