Stamford Cop's Husband Found With Cocaine, Weapons And Cash: Police
Police believe the accused was selling drugs from his Monroe Road home.

MONROE, CT — A man who police believe was selling cocaine from his Driftwood Road home was found with drugs, weapons and cash Friday, according to Monroe Police. Michael Pinto, 56, was arrested after police searched the home following a joint investigation between Stamford and Monroe police.
Pinto is also the husband of Sgt. Jennifer Pinto of the Stamford Police Department.
Investigators say they found a consistent cocaine delivery to Monroe, and were able to develop Pinto as a suspect. When they searched his home, they found cocaine packaged for sale, loose prescription medications, weapons and cash.

Pinto was arrested on two counts of failure to keep drugs in their original container and two counts of possession of narcotics with intent to sell. He posted a $20,000 bond and is due in Bridgeport Superior Court on Aug. 25.
