STAMFORD, CT — Stamford Downtown has introduced a new "Kindness Thank You Card" program aimed at encouraging positive interactions and recognizing everyday acts of kindness in the community.

The card, measuring 2 by 3.5 inches and featuring Stamford Downtown branding, is designed to be distributed by Stamford Downtown Ambassadors and community partners. It will serve as a gesture of appreciation for residents or visitors who demonstrate small, thoughtful actions—such as holding open a door, picking up litter, helping a neighbor, or simply offering a friendly smile.

"Our goal is to foster a spirit of community and appreciation," said Mike Little, the director of public realm operations for Stamford Downtown. "These small moments of kindness often go unnoticed, but they are what truly make Stamford special. This initiative gives us a way to say thank you and support our local businesses at the same time."

Each recipient of the Kindness Thank You Card can redeem it for a complimentary item at one of three local establishments: Lorca Coffee Bar, Bedford Hall Craft Kitchen & Bar, or Towne Parlor Pizza & Pints. Stamford Downtown expressed its gratitude to restaurant owner John Gazzola for supporting the initiative by participating in the program.

"Stamford Downtown wishes for these cards to help foster a welcoming environment in our City Center," said Stamford Downtown President Michael Moore.
