Stamford Fire Department To Hold 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony
The program will include remarks from city officials, a moment of silence, the presentation of colors, and the sounding of "Taps."
STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Fire Department will hold a 9/11 remembrance ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. in front of the Woodside Fire Station 5, located at 1620 Washington Blvd.
The ceremony will honor the lives lost in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, as well as recognize the bravery and sacrifice of first responders who answered the call that day and in the years that followed.
According to the SFD, the program will include remarks from city officials, a moment of silence, the presentation of colors, and the sounding of "Taps."

The ceremony is open to all.
Police will close the southbound lanes of Washington Boulevard at Bridge Street, beginning at 6:30 p.m. for on-street parking.
