Stamford Health 17th Annual Dream Ball – Event Recap

On Saturday, November 8, Stamford Health held its seventeenth Dream Ball at the Tully Health Center with nearly 500 attendees. This year’s event featured EMCEE Colin Cosell with special performances from band, City Social. Remarks were made by Stamford Health’s President and CEO, Kathleen Silard, Chair of the Stamford Hospital Foundation Board of Advisors, Mark DeWaele, and Chair of Stamford Health System Board, Mallory Martino.

The evening focused on the future transformation of the Carl & Dorothy Bennett Cancer Center and featured an inspiring patient story from Lauren Corcoran, a young, non-smoking lung cancer survivor whose story was also profiled in USA TODAY. In total, the event raised over $350,000 to build a brand-new cancer center, thanks to our generous donors and guests.
