The expansion reflects Stamford Health's continued investment in pediatric care.
STAMFORD, CT — Stamford Health has expanded services for pediatric patients at its Cohen Children’s Specialty Center in endocrinology, pulmonology, neurosurgery, nutrition, and gastroenterology to offer families broader access to advanced care without leaving the region.
The expansion includes neurosurgeons Dr. Neil Feldstein of Columbia University Medical Center and Dr. Michael E. Tobias of the Brain and Spine Surgeons of New York; endocrinologist Dr. Raul Arguello, Chair of Pediatrics at Stamford Health; pediatric clinical dietitian Ilaria St. Florian, MS, RD; pulmonologist Dr. Joseph Boyer; and gastroenterologist Dr. Mira Kothari of Boston Children’s Health Physicians.
"Our new pediatric care services are an exciting step forward for Stamford Health and the families we serve," said Arguello in an announcement from Stamford Health. "Parents with children that require specialty health care experience significant emotional and logistical stressors. By expanding access to high-quality care right here in Stamford, we’re helping make it easier for families to access the medical care they need much closer to home."
