Stamford Health Hosts 28th Annual Hope In Motion Walk
This signature event is an opportunity to gather and remember and honor all who have been impacted by cancer.

STAMFORD, CT — On Sunday, June 9, Stamford Health hosted its 28th Annual Hope in Motion Walk in Mill River Park.
Each year, this signature event is an opportunity to be together to remember and honor all who have been impacted by cancer. Despite the rain, the nearly 1,300 event participants enjoyed a 1.3 mile walk around the park and took part in the day’s festivities including food trucks, family-friendly activities, vendors, and survivor photo.

Hope in Motion raises funds for integrative medicine and supportive services at Stamford Health’s Bennett Cancer Center, allowing patients to access them free of charge.
These services include rides to treatment; post-treatment exercise programs; restorative sessions of massage, reiki, yoga and reflexology; and grants for non medical expenses.
