Stamford Landlord Guilty of Arson: Jury Verdict

After more than a day of deliberation, a jury issued a guilty verdict on Wednesday.

A Stamford landlord has been found guilty of arson in connection with the December 2014 fire that damaged an apartment house he owned.

A jury returned a guilty verdict on Wednesday against Anthony Manousos after more than a day of deliberation, according to The Advocate.

Manousos was arrested on a first-degree arson charge by Stamford Police following the Dec. 3, 2014 fire at the home he owned at 52 Highland Rd. Police were called to the property by someone who reported seeing a man pouring gasoline in the rear of the multi-family home.
