Stamford Lawyer Nominated to Superior Court

Attorney Anthony D. Truglia, Jr. of Stamford, was one of 15 nominations by Gov. Dannel P. Malloy to the position of judge in the Connecticut Superior Court. 

Truglia was described as "a Stamford-based attorney with diverse experience in commercial law, specializing in real estate, litigation and corporate matters," on the Governor's website.

He received his B.A. from the University of Virginia and J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles.

"I feel very honored by this nomination and by the Governor’s confidence," Truglia said on the governor's website. "We have an excellent judicial department in this state and I look forward to joining it and making my contribution to it."

Additionally, Judge Christine Keller was nominated to the Appelate Court.
