Stamford Man Charged with Apartment Burglary
The residents reportedly caught the suspect trying to steal a computer.
STAMFORD, CT - A city man is facing burglary and attempted larceny charges after residents allegedly caught him burglarizing their Daskam Place apartment.
Jose Cerda, 22, of Cove Road, is accused of entering the apartment and trying to steal a laptop computer and sneakers on Thursday afternoon, according to The Advocate.
Police also charged Cerda with possession of burglar tools after he was found to have a pair of wire cutters in his possession. He was held in lieu of $5,000 bond, according to The Advocate story that can be found here.
