The suspect is accused of sending unwanted text messages and sitting outside the victim's home.

A 37-year-old Stamford man is facing a second-degree stalking charge after he was accused of sending a series of unwanted text messages to a Greenwich woman and sitting outside her home for hours, according to Greenwich Police.

The victim went to police headquarters on Dec. 23 to report that the suspect had sent numerous text messages earlier in the day and that she did not want any contact with the man with whom she ended a relationship with nine months earlier, according to a police report. The victim told police that when she left her home, she saw the suspect sitting in a parked car and that he had been outside her home for two hours.
