On Thursday, May 2, it became official: Stamford's Mill River Park is now open!
Just ahead of summer, Mayor Michael Pavia, Senator Richard Blumenthal and a plethora of city officials and Mill River Collaborative members cut the ribbon and opened the gates to the park at the southwest corner of Broad Street and Washington Boulevard.
Above, check out video of the ribbon cutting with some comments from Pavia and Collaborative Chairman Arthur Selkowitz.
