Stamford Native Is Named Bank Assistant Vice President
Steve Ferguson is a business development officer for First County Bank.

First County Bank has announced the appointment of Steven ‘Steve’ G. Ferguson as assistant vice president, business development officer.
“Steve will be originating and growing commercial relationships for the Bank. He will enhance the Bank’s business banking and sales team with his talents and business relationships,” First County Bank’s chairman and CEO Reyno Giallongo said in a statement.
Prior to joining First County Bank, the Stamford native was vice president of Small Business Lending at First Niagara and a business banking officer at JP Morgan Chase Bank. He has spent most of his banking career as a relationship manager responsible for sales and service of commercial customers. Ferguson has more than 20 years of banking and lending experience.

Ferguson serves on several civic, commerce and nonprofit boards and organizations in the community. He is a member of the Norwalk Planning Commission and the City of Norwalk Capital Budget Board. Ferguson volunteers as the secretary of the Rotary Club in Norwalk and is a member of the Norwalk Chamber of Commerce. His nonprofit work also includes serving on the Board of Directors for Side by Side Charter School in Norwalk, where he resides.
He participates in the Read Aloud, Junior Achievement and STAR Mentor programs. Ferguson is department leader for the annual “Fairfield County Heart Walk” with The American Heart Association. He is pursuing his B.S. in business administration at the University of Connecticut. Steve’s professional credentials include a Connecticut Life and Health Insurance License, several American Bankers Association certifications, National Mortgage License and he is a notary public.
