Stamford Police Association to Co-host ARI Holiday Party
For 60 years, the police association has hosted the party for developmentally disabled teens and adults.

STAMFORD, CT - The Stamford Police Association will co-host the 60th annual holiday party for developmentally disabled teens and adults who receive services at ARI of Connecticut, Inc.
More than 100 developmentally disabled teens and adults ranging in age from 18 to 80 are expected to attend. The event will take place from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 11 at 174 Richmond Hill Ave. in Stamford.
The Stamford Police Association, which has been sponsoring the event for 60 years, donated funds towards 100 gifts for Always Reaching for Independence (ARI) participants. Gifts will be given out by Santa Claus, who is scheduled to arrive at 12:30 p.m. inside a Stamford Police squad car. Santa will then be assisted by Stamford police officers in giving out gifts to attendees. This year’s lunch will be provided by Renee’s Soul Food Cuisine.
