Stamford Police Investigate Robbery of Man Outside Restaurant

A man sitting in a car parked outside the McDonald’s on East Main Street reported that he was robbed of his Michael Jordan sneakers and cash by a trio of men early Friday morning.

Stamford Police told The Advocate the 28-year-old man reported he was punched in the face during the incident shortly after midnight.

The man told police he was waiting in his car for a friend who was inside the restaurant when three men got out of a dark car and approached him and then stole his money and the sneakers, according to The Advocate story that can be found here.
