Stamford Road Closed, Drivers Should Avoid Area: Public Safety

STAMFORD, CT — Riverbank Road in North Stamford is closed in all directions for all traffic Monday, according to Stamford Public Safety on the social media platform X.

The closure, in the area of 500 Riverbank Road, could possibly extend into the evening hours. Stamford police said the closure takes place south of No. 536 and north to the bridge.

Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and use an alternate route.
