Stamford's Hottest Summer Reads at the Ferguson Library

Summer's almost here, the beaches are already open and they're going to start becoming more and more populated - and that means it's time to grab a good book to take along for the trip.

Patch talked to the Stamford Library's Elizabeth Joseph, supervisor of Information Services, about the most popular books being checked out right now. They are, in descending order:

• "Gone Girl," Gillian Flynn
• "The Racketeer," John Grisham
• "The Light Between Oceans," M.L. Steadman
• "A Wanted Man," Lee Child
• "I, Michael Bennett," James Patterson
• "Where We Belong," Emily Giffin
• "The Casual Vacancy," J.K. Rowling
• "The Round House," Louise Erdrich
• "The Inn at Rose Harbor," Debbie Macomber
• "15 Seconds," Andrew Gross

Above, Yelena Klompus shows off a couple of the titles.

Joseph also plugged the Adult Summer Reading Club, which is "annual programs and discussions of all things related to reading," she said. A number of the titles on the most popular list would be covered during the club, Joseph said. This year's theme is "Groundbreaking."
