Storm Causes Flooding along Stamford Shoreline

At least one city park was under water Sunday.

The Stamford Fire Department is advising that today’s wind and rain storm is causing some coastal flooding.

In a post on Twitter late Sunday morning, the fire department said, “Today’s weather is causing some flooding down at Cummings Park.”

The National Weather Service has issued both a Hazardous Weather Outlook and a Coastal Flood Advisory for southern Fairfield and southern New Haven counties for Sunday.
