For the upcoming week ahead in Stamford:

It looks like the weather for the week kicks off with partly cloudy skies in the mid-80s, which carries through until some predicted storms Thursday, according to weather.com. You can check the high and low tide schedules using these Tide charts.
For the next time you're in Grand Central and have a little time to spare: "The Next Level: Photographs by Hiroyuki Suzuki," an exhibit at the New York Transit Museum at Grand Central Terminal shows ongoing construction work 18 stories beneath the station. The exhibit, which just opened on Tuesday, July 23, runs through Oct. 27. The museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., but closed on Mondays.
In city government activity, there's a Zoning Board public hearing on Monday scheduled for 7 p.m. and three events on Wednesday including the application filing deadline for the Zoning Board of Appeals.
On Monday, you can check out A Day in a Farmer's Life at the Stamford Museum & Nature Center starting at 2:30 p.m.
On Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m., visit Bacelona Stamford for Chef Scott's Tomato, Tomato, featuring instruction on how to make a number of popular Spanish dishes using in-season heirloom tomatoes.
