Tentative Contract Reached with Stamford Teachers
Arbitration sessions have been cancelled after a tentative settlement was reached.

A tentative contract deal has been reached between the Stamford Board of Education and the teachers’ union.
Both side called off an arbitration session scheduled for Monday, according to The Advocate.
The state arbitration panel must approve the agreement by Dec. 14. The arbitration panel was called in after negotiations broke down earlier this month over health benefits, sick time and raises for the most tenured teachers, according to the report that can be found here.
